This workshop is both educational and experimental. Through the perspective of Hatha yoga, you will learn about how to stretch in a healthy way to build flexibility, muscular strength and improve mobility. Most physical changes become apparent gradually after the age of 40. Therefore, maintaining an independent lifestyle, functional mobility, and youthful appearance can be aided by having a specific stretch/strength practice. As they say, Healthy flexibility leads to more mobility. What to expect: It will be a relaxed, interactive time, jam packed with yoga stretch demonstrations and practice time “try it for yourself”. You will get a taste of Hatha Stretch programs using your body, breath, sound and laughter in a community setting. Those who love to be in the flow of life are welcome to experience this workshop.
