You will be guided in a step-by-step process to create a replica of a Medieval or Renaissance letter using traditional and modern techniques with the mediums of watercolor, gauche and hints of gold leaf. Please bring $15 to the instructor to cover the cost of 140 lb hot press Arches watercolour paper for your letter, a 5/0 paint brush, gold leaf and gilding medium. Some other supplies are required.
